I don't know what it is about GM's ecotec engines, but there timing chain throwing little bastards. I'll be honest with you, those valves are done. Iv never seen a 2.0, 2.2 or 2.4 ecotec pop a chain and not hit valves. Problem is going to be seejngnif they took out a piston or cylinder wall as well.
