40 craftsman 32cc blower fuel line diagram
I've just replaced the fuel lines on my leaf blower. The return/primer line is supposed to be larger diameter. I've only got the narrower diameter line so I've used it for the suction and return. Since doing this the blower will start but cuts outs shortly after closing the throttle. Could this be caused by the smaller hose not creating an air tight seal on the fuel tank where it enters? The hoses isn't large enough to create a seal. Would an air leak in the fuel tank cause that to happen (i.... Fuel lines can clog, crimp or crack. Solution. The 3 fuel lines should be connected as follows: The (clear) main fuel line with the filter (filter inside the fuel tank) goes to the bottom of the carburetor (or the elbow shaped nipple). The (clear) fuel intake line runs from the top of the carburetor (straight nipple) and goes to the short post on the back of the primer bulb.
